While you can use the SearchResultsCap registry value to reduce the results, you'll need to refine the search to keep the results under 250 or use OWA (which does not have a limit). Office 365 Online archive mailboxes have a limit of 250 results. Outlook Version numbers are as follows: Popular Name HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\xx.0\Outlook\Searchĭecimal Value: number you want as your limit: 0 to 4294967295 Add the SearchResultsCap DWORD with the new value then restart Outlook. Open regedit then browse to the following key (where xx is your version of Outlook). To increase (or decrease) the number for items initially displayed you can add the SearchResultsCap value to the registry. If you opened Outlook again and it still doesn’t work, close Outlook and go back to the Indexing Options section of the control panel. If it’s not, choose Modify and click to enable it. To show all results, go to File, Options, Search and untick Improve search speed by limiting the number of results shown. Find Indexing Options and make sure that Microsoft Outlook is included in the locations section. Has anyone fixed an MS Outlook 2016 search issue where the quick search bars are greyed out and going to File-Options-Search shows the Indexing Option non-functional as well. You can change the Search options to show all results or edit the registry to increase the number of results. MS Outlook 2016 Indexing Option greyed out in File-Options-Search window.
